Goatman Shaman

This is a goatman shaman, made entirely in ZBrush. Heavily influenced by the goatmen from Path of Exile, I wanted to try and create one of my own. I was able to make a rig for the model using Zspheres and pose it, but I ran into an issue when trying to apply the pose to the model. The rig ended up working really well for posing even though it didn't create the final product. I ended up using masking and moving the orientation towards the base of the limb or finger to pose the model in it's final state. I also ended up removing one bracer to help break up the symmetry a little.

The texture is all polypainted with a couple of different materials. The glowing material was made by David Jogoo, it can be found in the ZBrush MatCap Library. The rope brush I used was made by Elena Filippova and it can be found on the ArtStation marketplace for free.

Updated version, added some glowing crystals and more tertiary details.

A fur mantle. Although impractical for a game, it was really fun making this. There is a base sphere underneath. I used the CurveAlpha brush over and over to make the strands.
